My name is Alice, I'm eighteen years old, and I recently moved to Warsaw. This city has always seemed out of reach to me, almost like something out of a movie, where the streets are filled with light, style and freedom. Now I'm here every morning and I still can't believe that this is my reality. Warsaw has become for me a symbol of a new beginning, courage and growing up. I feel like this is where I can find myself and figure out who I really want to be.

My dream was not related to a career or numbers. I dreamed about my place. About the day when I up in a cozy apartment somewhere in Żoliborz, pour myself some coffee and feel that I am not "visiting", but at home. I imagined how I would walk along the narrow streets of the Old Town, and they would no longer seem like a set for a movie, becoming just my neighborhood.
